Frequently asked questions
What is Sonet VPN?
Sonet VPN is a fast, no-logs WireGuard VPN app for iPhone and Android. It encrypts your internet traffic in one tap, hides your IP address and lets you browse freely on any network. Every account includes 1 GB of free data each month, with Pro and Unlimited plans for heavier use.
Is Sonet VPN free?
Yes. Sonet VPN gives every user 1 GB of free traffic every month on all server locations with full WireGuard encryption — no credit card required. If you need more, the Pro plan adds 100 GB per month and the Unlimited plan removes the data cap and speed limits and adds ad and tracker blocking.
Does Sonet VPN keep logs?
No. Sonet VPN is no-logs by design: it does not record the websites you visit, your DNS queries or your browsing history. Traffic is encrypted end to end through the WireGuard tunnel, and a built-in Privacy Check lets you confirm the tunnel is active and your real IP is hidden with no leaks.
Is WireGuard secure?
Yes. WireGuard is a modern, audited VPN protocol that uses state-of-the-art cryptography (ChaCha20, Curve25519, BLAKE2). It is faster and leaner than older protocols like OpenVPN or IPsec, which means lower latency and higher throughput while keeping your connection strongly encrypted. Sonet VPN uses WireGuard on both iOS and Android.
Which devices does Sonet VPN support?
Sonet VPN runs on iPhone and iPad (iOS) and on Android phones and tablets. Extra features include a Kill Switch, Auto-connect, split tunneling and network-wide ad and tracker blocking, plus a built-in speed test to check your connection.
